Beauty Inspired ... Always

Happy New Year Beautifuls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Last year was absolutely amazing, so many weddings and parties.  We would be amiss not to acknowledge our accomplishments and express gratitude for what we love doing most.  A couple of our weddings made it to both Munaluchi Bridal and Ebony Magazine online, and for that we are absolutely honored and extremely grateful.  We also worked with some amazing clients that allowed us to do what we truly love to do, create Beautiful, One of a Kind, Memorable events.   Now, that is not to say last year didn't come with challenges, for anywhere there is progress and definite success, believe you me there are so many things and people that are set up to help you fail.  But here at BCG Events, we choose to focus on the positive and the vision that we have, that our events would ALWAYS evoke and inspire beauty.  That brides of culture can begin to appreciate weddings as not only a day to celebrate but to be celebrated by all and that by embracing their culture and style does not mean sacrificing the beauty of their day.  We also look at the challenges we faced as our opportunity to learn, grow and be a better company, so "challenges" ; things and people, we thank you.  



With that said, we are excited for 2013.  It is going to be an absolutely amazing year.  We have built a strong team and we are ready for the new opportunities of the New Year.  Already, a few more of our weddings from last year would be featured on major wedding blogs this year (we would update you when this happens).  Also we would be partnering with some of the areas top wedding professionals for styled wedding shoots and of course wedding events (That has me super excited) and yes we have an excitingly beautiful event season lined up , starting from this weekend's Winter Wonderland Wedding (We would update photos instantly on Instagram, so follow us to get a sneak peek: @bcgevents). Another exciting thing to look forward to this year is our "Super Lux Ball" Event, which has us partnering with one of the Hottest DJ's (DJ Universe) and MUI Public Relations.  This is an event just to celebrate the industry's best as well as express gratitude to the fans and followers, so watch this space for more details.

And did we mention "REBRANDING"?  Yes BCG Events would be embarking on a major rebranding campaign starting the 2nd quarter of the year, so expect to see a fresh, beautiful and updated logo, a new and integrated web/blog site as well as more social media presence.  Our new look would be reflective of where we are going and be indicative of the types of events we do.  We have a team of Ah!Mazingly talented graphic artists and web and social media experts working on this and we are pretty excited (that is our new word for 2013 EXCITED LOL) and can't wait to debut our new look.  The blog would still be a source of inspiration and information; more so this year.  We have several outlets to keep you updated with our events, Facebook and Instagram and yes some would make the blog, but we have received your emails requesting more real time wedding information; from finding a venue, to booking vendors as well as just some of your personal questions like how we got started and what keeps us going in this highly competitive wedding Industry.  So we would respond to your emails and questions via a new section on the blog called "Ask AJ".  We would provide feedback the best way we can and hope that this would inspire you as you dream and plan your wedding.  

 There is just so much to share but rather than inundate you, we ask that you continue to check back  on the blog, our Facebook page, Our Twitter Handle and of course our Instagram page for all our updates.  Thank you all again, we appreciate your continued support and we hope that you continue to Be Inspired ..... Wow! What A Year!!

Hello Lovelies,

How are you all doing?? I just wanted to do a really quick post saying THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! Since I've started this blog I've gotten soooo much feedback about how much our posts help and inspire people who are wedding planning or just love weddings, and that is what it is all about! I know this year I did not blog as much as I wanted to because I was so consumed with planning my own wedding and then adjusting to the married life but in 2013 I am ready to ROCK n ROLL! You will see new things here at the blog and we always welcome positive feedback and ask you all to tell us what you want to read about! We love you ALL and pray that this new year is filled with nothing but happiness, joy, growth, and all things wonderful!!! MUAH!!

Beauty Sightings: Colored Rocks

I hope everyone enjoyed the first part of the holiday season!! I know I had a great time! Well, during the holiday season everyone is happy, in good spirits, and everyone is in the giving mood! We also know that a lot of guys choose this time of year to pop the big question! Yes, statistically more people get engaged during  Thanksgiving, Christmas and  New Year than any other time of the year. With that said, some of you have been dreaming of that flawless, 2+ carat diamond ring set in platinum and guaranteed forever.  For those of you looking for something different though and not your standard clear, cut diamond set in gold or platinum there IS an alternative! YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A huge trend now are colored gemstones. A few celebrities have spotted these rings like the Midnight Blue Sapphire stone the Duchess of Cambridge has, or Jessica Simpson's Blood Red Ruby engagement stone or remember J.Lo's Pretty Pink diamond when she was still with Ben Affleck?  There are soooo many options out there from rubies, amethysts, aquamarines, peridots, to gorgeous moisannite, morganite and iolite stones in peach and pink hues and even diamonds are now trending in chocolate, black, yellow, pink and even blue colors. I mean the possibilities are totally endless! So if you are the kind of girl who loves to break tradition, one of these rings may be the one for you!
